2026-27 Photography Pricing

The wee one
This is the perfect option for small weddings that don’t require full day coverage from start to finish. Having a big do but don't feel the need to have a photographer there all day? Four hours usually covers the ceremony through to the speeches pretty comfortably; I’m more than happy to chat through your timings if you’re unsure.
£1,750

The full shebang
All the perks of The Big One plus a gorgeous fine art wedding album.
Your album will be a large square format (12 x 12 inches) displaying your favourite photos across 50 pages of fine art matt 230gsm archival paper in a choice of finishes and colours.
£3,400

The teeny tiny one
Cute wedding pics without the fuss. This is the perfect option if you want to keep things simple. An intimate ceremony at Edinburgh City Chambers and some portraits afterwards? Or maybe an Aurthur's Seat elopement overlooking the city? Whatever you have planned, I'd love to capture it for you.

Extras
Film photography
All that grainy goodness, the light leaks, imperfections... nothing beats the magic of film! It’s such a timeless way to document your day. If you do choose to have me shoot your day on 35mm film, I’ll always do so alongside digital, not instead. Film is beautiful, but it ain’t foolproof!
Fine Art Wedding Albums
It's so easy these days to have thousands of photos hidden away on our phones and laptops. Don't be that guy! Honestly there's nothing like seeing your wedding photos in their full printed glory. Your gallery is linked up to a print lab that specialises in high quality fine art prints and albums if you'd like to put one together yourself. If you’d like a little helping hand with albums I am more than happy to do the heavy lifting. Once you’ve chosen your favourite wedding photos that you’d like to include, I’ll personally organise them into stunning layouts for you to review. Once you’re happy with how it looks, I’ll place the order and you won’t need to lift a finger!
Additional coverage
Of course, not all weddings fit into a neat little package. Maybe 4 hours isn't quite enough for what you have planned, but 10 hours is way too much? You can always add an on extra time to your day as you see fit.
Second Shooter
A second shooter or second photographer is someone who works alongside me to capture different locations, angles and situations. While you're having portraits taken, the second shooter will capture candid shots of your guests mingling during your drinks reception, for example.
Though not always essential, second shooters can be an amazing addition to your day if you want to capture simultaneous action. I can only be in one place at a time after all! I normally recommend a second shooter for large weddings (over 100) or for weddings where the couple are getting ready at different locations.
Danielle, WOW. We've just gone through the sneak peeks, I'm lost for words! They are INCREDIBLE!!!!! I was so happy and thankful you were our photographer, it made the whole experience so special and you have just knocked it out the park!!!!! We just LOVE them. So over the moon, thank you!!
Having Danielle by our side on the day felt like having a good mate around and her photos are next level! We are beyond delighted we chose her to photograph our wedding. Do yourself a favour and get her booked!!
Frequently Asked Questions
What's your booking process?
First up, I encourage you to have a good old rummage around my website and Instagram to get a feel for my style. If you like what you see, get in touch and we can arrange a video call to chat. When you're ready to book, I ask for a 20% deposit to reserve your date, with the remaining fee payable one month before your wedding day. Of course, I'll be in touch regularly to keep up to date with your plans, and I'll be available if you have any questions before the big day.
How far do you travel for weddings?
I'm based in East Lothian, just outside Edinburgh, Scotland, but I do travel around the country for weddings! I don't charge for travel within 30 miles of my home (EH40); anything over 30 miles is charged at 60p per mile within the UK. Depending on distance, overnight accommodation may also be required. For weddings that are further afield, just drop me a line and I will be happy to calculate a bespoke quote for you.
How many images will you take on our wedding day?
There is a difference between the number of photos I take on the day and the number I actually deliver. Once your day is done I personally go through all the photos I've taken and I hand select only the best images that tell the story of your day. No duplicates, no filler. I usually guarantee a minimum of around 700 for a full day of photography, though it's often more.
Can we see a full gallery?
Of course! I'm more than happy to show you a full gallery so you can see how I document an entire wedding day from start to finish. Let me know what vibe you're going for and the kind of venue you have in mind and I'll ping over a few past galleries with a similar feel for you to have a look through.
But how will we know what to do, we’re so awkward in front of the camera!
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard this! But trust me, you have nothing to worry about. I’m all about capturing authentic moments over getting you to strike that perfect pose, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to help you! During portraits I'll guide you to get the best shots possible and give you little prompts to keep things moving naturally. I'll never ask you to do anything that you're not completely comfortable with. Let's celebrate you as you are, not pose as something you're not.
Do you shoot film as well as digital?
Abso-bloody-lutely! Nothing beats the magic of film – it’s such a timeless way to document your day. If you choose to have me shoot your day on 35mm film, I’ll always do so alongside digital, not instead. Film is beautiful, but it ain’t foolproof.
What's a second shooter and do I need one?
A second shooter or second photographer is someone who works alongside me to capture different locations, angles and situations. While you're having portraits taken, the second shooter will capture candid shots of your guests mingling during your drinks reception, for example.
Though not always essential, second shooters can be an amazing addition to your day if you want to capture simultaneous action. I can only be in one place at a time after all! I normally recommend a second shooter for large weddings (over 100 people) or for weddings where the couple are getting ready at different locations.
How late will you stay on a full wedding day?
My full day is ten hours, and usually that's plenty time for me to capture everything from prep to party. Rather than rush off right after your first dance, this is when I love to get creative and create some slow shutter dancefloor magic. You can always add more time if you feel like ten hours isn't quite enough.
Do we need to feed you?
If I’m shooting a full day for you then yes please, I would really appreciate that! It’s a long day and there aren’t many opportunities for a rest, so a hot meal while you're all having your dinner helps keep me going. It doesn’t have to be what your guests are eating, but it should ideally be at the same time so that I don’t miss anything!
How will you deliver our photos?
Your photos will be delivered via your own online gallery. From here you can easily view and download your images, share them with friends and family, order prints, and make any selections should you wish to purchase a wedding album.
How long until we can see our photos?
I know you'll be super keen to see your photos, so I usually send a small selection of preview images within a few days of your wedding, with your fully edited gallery following within 10–12 weeks.
Do you offer prints and albums?
It's so easy these days to have thousands of photos hidden away on our phones and laptops. Don't be that guy! Honestly there's nothing like seeing your wedding photos in their full printed glory. Your gallery is linked up to a print lab that specialises in high quality fine art prints and albums if you'd like to put one together yourself. Once you’ve chosen your favourite wedding photos that you’d like to include, I’ll personally organise them into stunning layouts for you to review. Once you’re happy with how it looks, I’ll place the order and you won’t need to lift a finger!
