Danielle, what can we say about these photos? My gosh they capture the day so perfectly. They really feel like us, fun, alive and naughty haha!

alternative wedding photographer

hi, i'm danielle

I'm a fun-loving, creative wedding photographer obsessed with capturing love in all its forms. Based in the beautiful East Lothian countryside just outside Edinburgh, I travel all over the country and beyond to capture the joy, colour, candid moments and sheer chaos of your wedding day on 35mm film and digital.

I'd love to hear about your plans – get in touch to check my availability and we can go from there!

Trust me, Whatever happens naturally on your wedding day is Way more interesting than anything I could ever set up.

I try to keep things as natural, relaxed and as candid as I can, capturing your wedding day as it naturally unfolds with as little intervention, posing and choreographing as possible. The end result is honest, down to earth, documentary-style coverage: all the big moments that you want to remember, and the little ones you might otherwise have missed.

How it works

Get in touch

If you like what you've seen so far and you think I could be the photographer for you, get in touch via my contact form and tell me all about your plans. I'll let you know if I'm available on your date and I'll ping over my brochure with lots of handy info.

Let's chat

Having a total stranger rock up to your wedding is a bit of a gamble. That's why I like to have wee video call before you book so we can get to know eachother a wee bit. You can decide if I'm the right fit for you and I can answer any burning questions you might have!

Book your date

You've decided I'm not a total weirdo (yay!) and you want to get this locked in. Great news! I'll need a two things from you at this stage: a signed contract and a 20% deposit to reserve your date. Once that's ticked off, it's official!

so What's Next?

If you think I could be the right photographer for you, get in touch by filling out my enquiry form. I'll let you know ASAP whether or not I'm available and we can go from there!
